A fancy number allocation lets you choose a preferred or VIP registration number for your new vehicle, such as 0001, 1111, 9999 or your lucky number. These numbers are allotted through an online auction conducted by state transport departments.

How Fancy Number Allocation Works

  1. Register on the official Parivahan or state transport portal.
  2. Select your state, RTO and the fancy number category.
  3. Bid for the desired registration number during the auction window.
  4. If you win, pay the allotment fee and reserve the number.
  5. Complete vehicle registration within the validity period using the reserved number.
